One of the causes that Halek Charities and Halek Energy Partners help is Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County. Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County provides over 1 million nutritious meals to the elderly and housebound of Tarrant County. However, Jason Halek understands that simply giving money to a group is not enough. This is why Jason Halek of Halek Energy Partners, working with Halek Charities, encourages his employees to volunteer their time to help drive the vans around that provide vital food and services to those in need. As Jason explains, “I believe it is important to give back to our local community, both financially, as well as by volunteering to get involved where we live and work.”

Halek Energy Partners and Jason Halek also have teamed up with the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Fourteen years ago, when Jason Halek first came to Texas, he was impressed at the level of commitment and the services provided by the doctors and staff at TSRHC. What truly touched him was how important such a hospital was when it came to taking care of the youngest and neediest. “I was amazed at the quality of treatment the hospital was able to provide to these kids without regard for the family’s ability to pay.”
